• Students must register an account on the platform ( When the profile has been registered on the platform and user account is setup, as a platform user, you must:
    • (i) provide accurate and complete information;
    • (ii) in case of any changes, promptly update account information by editing your profile on EdGuru LMS portal;
    • (iii) authorize EdGuru India to make any inquiries we consider necessary or appropriate to verify your account information or the information you provide. Students are responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the confidentiality of their account information. Account details should not be shared with other users or with any third party.
  • ⦁ Information furnished by the students are true to the best of their knowledge, EdGuru India will not be held accountable for any discrepancies in information.
  • ⦁ EdGuru India LLP is responsible for connecting students with Teachers and will not be held responsible for the lesson quality or interaction with Teachers. However in case of any complaints EdGuru India team will provide complete assistance to student/ parent to address existing issues with teachers.
  • ⦁ EdGuru India teacher coordinator will be student’s sole point of contact for communicating with Teachers. Students are discouraged to directly communicate with the teachers outside booked sessions.
  • ⦁ Registered students will not use the Platform in any manner that harasses a user of the Platform . You will respect the privacy of users of the Platform and will not use the Platform for unwelcome, rude or abusive communications or in any other disrespectful or detrimental manner, as determined by EdGuru India LLP in its sole discretion.
  • ⦁ You will comply with all applicable local, provincial, and National Laws and regulations.
  • ⦁ All rights for recording or archiving tution sessions are reserved with EdGuru India LLP management only. No sessions should be recorded by students .
  • ⦁ In case of a batch, coverage of subject-wise syllabus will be as per the ongoing batch schedule. For extra classes, please get in touch with EdGuru India Teacher coordinator.
  • ⦁ High Speed Internet connection is required for high quality sessions.
  • ⦁ Students must always keep their video on during session with proper lighting.
  • ⦁ Background - the background of the sessions (visible area behind screen) should be a simple wall or drape that is light in color and located in a brightly lit environment.
  • ⦁ Sound - There should be no ambient noise or other sounds that could distract students or detract from the quality of the session.
  • ⦁ Dress Code- smart casuals / formals
  • ⦁ Students shall adhere to login protocol and enter the session room corresponding with his or her schedule session 5 minutes before start time.
  • ⦁ Students will refrain from using any other communication devices, electronic gadgets or avoid any kind of personal interactions with any one at his or her home during ongoing tuition classes.
  • Students are expected to attend all booked sessions during term time unless it has been cancelled or rescheduled with 5 days prior notice from EdGuru India. For teachers last moment cancellations have to be adjusted with another time slot in the pursuing week as agreed upon by registered student, teacher and EdGuru India teacher coordinator.
  • In exceptional circumstances, where student is unable to give advance notice of cancellation, teacher will do their best to offer an alternate date for the lesson that week. However this is at the teacher's discretion. During busy times if tutor fails to accommodate then the lesson will be chargeable.
  • In case a teacher is unable to complete number of sessions booked by the students, the students will be credited with remaining classes. These classes can be rebooked through EdGuru India Teacher Coordinator with other available teachers of similar fee structure. This assignment will solely depend on EdGuru India’s discretion.
  • You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold EdGuru India LLP , its officers, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of this Agreement.
  • ⦁ Payment will be made in advance for sessions to EdGuru India LLP through EdGuru India’s virtual payment gateway.
  • ⦁ In case of cash deposit, please contact EdGuru India LLP management, before the deposit is made.
  • ⦁ In case of cheque deposit, the classes will be assigned upon realization of funds.
  • ⦁ Students do not need to remunerate teachers in any manner for sessions booked with EdGuru India LLP.
  • ⦁ EdGuru India LLP will be liable to reschedule classes if cancelled by Teacher within a week of the date earlier confirmed.
  • ⦁ Tuition charges will be fixed at a fee agreed upon by students during booking of classes for a fixed number of classes ( minimum 4 sessions, maximum 12 sessions) and the same will be valid for all scheduled classes and no change request will be accepted till all classes booked by the student has been completed.
  • ⦁ Individual classes will be 45 minutes to 1 hour sessions / class, batches will be for 1 hour to 1.5 hour sessions/ class depending on the requirement. For combined subject classes ( more than 2 subjects) Teachers will take the same for 1 hour or 2 hours depending on the classes booked.

Fees are calculated according to the scheduled time agreed upon by the teacher and student. No adjustment to fees shall be made for time due to late arrival by the student or by early termination of session by the student. Any lost time due to the late arrival of the tutor shall be compensated by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost. The teacher will wait for maximum of 20 minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the student's arrival before considering that session canceled ( for cases without prior information from students). No fees will be refunded for joining more than 20 minutes late and in turn cancellation of classes.


The student undertakes to assist the teacher in identifying problem areas in which the student needs specific tutoring. The student agrees to provide their own materials needed for each tutoring session. 


EdGuru India LLP makes no promises or warranties with regards to a student's performance. 


It is expressly understood that the student retains the services of the tutor under contract as an independent contractor and not as an employee.


Students can use Promo Codes only once during booking of a class. For Example. JOIN10 promo code can be used only for the first time booking of classes by a particular student.


EdGuru India LLP gives utmost priority in safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect Information, it processes and maintain the same. Only authorised personnel from EdGuru management team will have access to your data on need to know basis, in order to operate, develop or improve its Application/Services/products/Website. Please note that, although EdGuru India’s endeavor is to provide full security, for information it possesses and maintains, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.


This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Where the student is a legal minor, the parent/guardian shall enter into this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.
